Rewriting the nineties

Excuses/sidekick services/some luggage/underscoring the
hardship of sleepiness/but don't get so high...
Frequently the confidence backfires,raises more questions
than one,(and you too) could ever answer over several months.
Therefore take measure and be a gradualist...
Alternations happen...

You're always at the carnival/in memory this becomes crucial.
Looking at the old cross,why gawd it is a display board!
Suddenly back at a crossroad,or would the reader prefer intersection?
Standing corrected,plus having enough time for discussion...
Beyond the shouts of public service/well this year (1995),our traffic
looks normal; yet active participation breaks your concentration

one last look

Intense light from a source
up in the sky,then all at once
the clouds cover it up; I stood
outside under the bright sun
way-too-long and got very burned...

You dreamt up a story in the early evening about yesterday...
but now you realize it was just an instant where paths crossed,
so the effort,all the efforts afterward were mere editorials and
as such were rather fucked up...(I rewrite this on the strength
of an old fashioned idea).
